Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has a multi-class system that allows gamers to choose a second class for their Fatemaker. Though this system allows players to make some truly exciting builds that focus on two classes synergizing well with one another, it could be made even better through a few key changes. If Gearbox ever wants to bring back the multi-class approach, it should look to improve upon the foundation Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has established.

Potential Improvements For Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Multi-Class System

A solid aspect of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Class system is that players can reset their second class at any time. This allows players to pair their starter class with their pick of the game’s other five options, shaking things up whenever they want by altering their second class. Gamers can then experiment with all the remaining options and find the second class that is the best fit for them.

However, this approach could be made even better if Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands players could reset both of their classes. When choosing a class initially, gamers have no idea if they will actually like it, as all they have to go off of is skill descriptions. If they find they do not like playing as a Clawbringer, they are out of luck, as they will be stuck having it in one of their class slots permanently. Being able to reset both classes would give gamers full control over their builds, letting them fix the mistake of a poorly picked starter class.

Another neat change would see Gearbox allowing players to use two action skills at the same time. A big draw to the multi-class approach is that gamers can wield action skills from either Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands class, but currently, they can pick just one of the four action skills that their two classes provide. Much like how Ambi-Hextrous allows players to wield two spells, a feature should be added that allows gamers to equip two action skills - one from each of their chosen classes.

Being able to toss the Clawbringer’s hammer at Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ mobs only to follow up with the Brr-Zerker’s axe could feel incredible, and it is just one possibility that would be opened up by having two active action skills. Players could transition from the Spore Warden’s bow to the Stabbomancer’s Ghost Blade, making for a thrilling combo that dishes out serious damage. While the action skills may need a slight nerf since players could use them back-to-back, it would be beneficial to switch between two classes’ skills without needing to stop the fight to enter the game’s menus.

One final adjustment could see players wielding a third class, though this would only be achievable with a much higher level cap than 40. Still, players have three skill trees to play with in Borderlands 3 (four after the Designer’s Cut DLC), so having that same level of depth would be a welcome change. With Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ DLC introducing a seventh class, players will have to sacrifice their second class slot to test it out. If a third slot was available, though, this would be a lot less devastating for a build. Hopefully, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will become a proper series, with Gearbox introducing a new and improved multi-class system alongside a future game.
