Meshnet is a NordVPN service that allows you to connect to your devices from anywhere. It creates a secure private network so that your devices can communicate as long as you have an internet connection. All the devices in your private network get a unique IP address and hostname.

Here’s how to get started.

Why Use Meshnet?

Remote access: Be able to access your Meshnet devices from anywhere as though they are within your LAN Collaboration: Easily share files and documents between your devices or with friends. You can send Meshnet invites to specific people to easily collaborate. Or better still, create a Samba file-sharing server that you can access from anywhere. Private cloud: Host HTTP services such as Nextcloud, ownCloud, or Portainer for managing your Docker images on the go. You can even create a gaming server if you want. Security: Route traffic through a designated device within your network for better security and privacy on the internet.

Setting up Meshnet is pretty simple, so let’s go.
