Adding the Instagram Facebook Page Tab
The Instagram/Page integration is accomplished through an app that places an Instagram tab on the Facebook Page. Here’s how to do it:
Log in to your Facebook account. It must be the account that has access to the Page you want to add the Instagram tab to. Type “Instagram” in the search bar at the top of any Facebook screen to produce search results for Instagram. Hit Return on your keyboard or click on the Magnifying glass to begin the search. In the Apps section, locate the Instagram option entitled Instagram Page App and click the Use Now button. On the Woobox app page that opens, click the button that says Add to Your Facebook Page (Completely Free) to install the application. In the screen that opens, select the Page you want to add the Instagram tab to from the drop-down menu under Facebook Pages. Click Add Page Tab. You are taken to the Page. Click the Click Here to Setup your Tab. Give Woobox permissions to post to your page. Once you’ve done so, you’ll go to a configuration page. Click on Connect to Instagram button. Enter your Instagram credentials and follow the directions to authorize the app if you are asked to do so to add the tab to your Page. Click the Connect to Instagram button and authorize your account. Finally, click Save Settings.
When the installation is complete, visitors to the tab on the Page can click on individual photos, share them, and comment on them. The goal here is visitor engagement.
