In fact, Alexa can play music from a variety of streaming services. This includes Deezer. So if you have a premium subscription to this service, you can easily link it to your Echo, to enjoy all of your favorite artists and playlists. We’ll show you how.
First, you should know that there is a way to stream any type of music from your phone through the Echo device. As soon as you connect your phone to Alexa via Bluetooth, you can open your Deezer, Spotify, YouTube, or even just a browser, and play the music on the Echo.
However, if you don’t want to rely on your phone every time you play music, it’s best to connect to Deezer directly.
Also, if your Echo is connected to a Bluetooth speaker, it can’t be connected to your phone at the same time. This means that you’ll need to have a music service linked to it directly. This is how you do that:
Say the command “Alexa, play music on Deezer. " At this point, the device will respond To play Deezer, enable the skill and link your account. I’ve sent the details to your Alexa mobile app. Tap on the notification from Alexa on your phone, which should open up the Alexa app. Download it for iOS or Android if you don’t have it. Tap Enable. Input your login details, or press Continue if you are already logged in. Your account is now linked.
Once this process is done, you need to specify that you want the music from Deezer, since it’s not the default service. For example, you’ll have to say “Alexa, play my Flow on Deezer.” However, you can also set the service as the default one on your Echo device.
Open the Alexa app on your phone and tap More at the bottom. Tap Settings. Scroll down and tap Music & Podcasts. Pick Default Devices. On this page, change all the devices for Deezer.
